UK Prime Minister Richi Sunak says the US and the UK need to strengthen their relationship to deal with the "challenges of the future" on the first day of his 2 day visit to Washington.
Sunak will meet with US president Joe Biden on Thursday where they are expected to discuss issues ranging from the war in Ukraine to Artificial Intelligence.
