The leader of the far-right group the Proud Boys and three other members have been found guilty of seditious conspiracy over their involvement in the Capitol Hill riot on January 6th 2021.
A fifth person was found guilty of other crimes but not of seditious conspiracy.
The rarely used charge carries a sentence of up to 20 years in prison.
It was also used in the two previous trials relating to January 6th, involving the Oath Keepers - another extremist right-wing group.
The verdicts mark the culmination of US Justice Department investigations into the breach of the US Capitol following the 2020 Presidential election.
