South Carolina legislature passes six week abortion ban

The South Carolina state Senate has approved a six week abortion ban.
The bill will make most abortions after early cardiac activity
is detected in a fetus illegal.
Rights groups have already threatened to take the matter to court to
challenge the legality of the state's latest ban.
