The United States Supreme Court is about to decide whether to maintain access to a widely used abortion medication.
The legal clash was triggered earlier this month when a Texas judge ruled to revoke the approval of mifepristone, a pill first approved by the Food and Drug Administration more than 20 years ago. It's listed by the World Health Organisation as "essential," and used in more than half of terminations in the US.
