UN TRYING TO CONVINCE RUSSIA TO RENEW GRAIN DEAL

Officials from the United Nations and Russia are negotiating the renewal of the Black Sea grain deal, which is due to expire at the end of this week.

Moscow's consistently expressed unhappiness with the deal, claiming it's not seeing the benefits it was promised.

Without it, food supply and food prices face major disruption as Russia continues to fight Ukraine.
