Nigeria's economy has lost an estimated 40 billion dollars since the introduction of a cash mop up exercise by the country's Central Bank.
A new report by an economic think tank, Centre for the Promotion of Private Enterprises, says the situation has also led to a major risk to the livelihoods of citizens.
