U.N Security Council to discuss more border crossings for humanitarian aid into rebel-held Syria

Malta's representative to the United Nations and president of the
Security Council has defended criticism that the council is dragging
its feet following the earthquake that struck Syria.
The council is the only U.N body that's able to authorise additional
border crossings especially into rebel-held regions of Syria, where
the aid is needed most.
Vanessa Frazier told reporters that she believes the Security Council
is doing the best it can. The council meets on Monday on this topic
and the sessions will be closed to the media and the public.
