The United Nations says the situation in Afghanistan is a grave
women's rights crisis and a wakeup call for the international
community.
A High-level UN delegation led by the Deputy Secretary-General spent
four days meeting the Taliban regime after it banned women from
attending university and female students from attending secondary
school.
