The UK's largest retailer has reported strong trading figures over Christmas, boosted by higher prices.
Leading supermarket Tesco says it is on course to hit profit targets of up to £2.5 billion for the year.
Meanwhile, Marks and Spencer revealed record food sales and its highest clothing and home market share for seven years.
