Japan and France agree to boost joint military exercises

Japan and France are agreeing to step-up joint military drills in the Indo-Pacific amid heightened tensions in the region. 

The leaders of the two countries met on Monday, on the first leg of the Japanese prime minister’s week-long tour of G7 member countries.
