worn by Muslim women - were banned from entering their college in India’s most
populated state Uttar Pradesh.
The Uttar Pradesh college administration claims that the girls were violating the official dress code.
The incident has once again sparked a debate about whether schools
can enforce uniforms over attire that has religious significance.
