Catherine, the Princess of Wales and Camilla, the Queen Consort have been given ceremonial military titles. The Princess of Wales is now Colonel of the Irish Guards, while the Queen Consort becomes Colonel of the Grenadier Guards - a position that had been vacant since Prince Andrew was stripped of royal titles earlier this year.
