GERMANS TOLD TO SAVE MORE GAS DESPITE PLUNGE IN TEMPERATURES

Temperatures continue to plunge across Northern Europe, as a blast of wintery weather makes its way across the region. 

The subzero temperatures are driving up energy use - which has experts in Germany worried about gas supplies.
