The New York Times has reported that senior Chinese officials told Russian counterparts in early February not to invade Ukraine before the end of the Beijing Winter Olympic Games.
If accurate, it would show Chinese officials had at least some knowledge of Russia's intentions to invade prior to its decision to launch its attack last week.
