The White House says that the threat of a Russian invasion of Ukraine is now "high", and they're vowing that the US will be ready to deal with any aggression ordered by President Vladimir Putin.
White House officials say that after a week of fruitless negotiations with the Russians, there are no current plans for further discussions.
