US judge approves $626 million settlement for Flint water crisis victims

A US judge has given final approval of a $626 million settlement for people affected by the water crisis in Flint, Michigan.


Flint declared a state of emergency in 2015, after the Environmental Protection Agency said it had found dangerous levels of lead in the city's water.
