Pfizer antiviral Covid-19 drug 89% effective

U.S. drug maker Pfizer says its antiviral pill can reduce the chance
of hospitalization or death from Covid-19 by 89%.

It comes as the U.S. government cancels its contract with Emergent
BioSolutions, a vaccine manufacturer that botched millions of doses.
