Protesting farmers say government has one week to arrest the son of an Indian federal minister

Protesting farmers in North India say the government has one week to arrest the son of an Indian federal minister who has been accused of mowing down a group of farmers in the state of Uttar Pradesh.

The minister has denied the charge and claims that neither he nor his son were present at the time of the accident. But opposition leaders are demanding the minister be sacked.

8 people - including four farmers - were killed in the incident.
