The European Union will today (Wednesday) offer to remove a majority of post-Brexit checks on British goods entering Northern Ireland, as it seeks to resolve a trading dispute with the UK.
It comes after Britain threatened to rip up a key protocol of the Brexit deal, as Benji Hyer explains from London.
