Pfizer BioNTech announced on Monday that children from ages 5 to 11 years old did get a strong immune response from a smaller dose of a COVID-vaccine, as seen in a trial.
In the United States, the vaccines still need to be approved by the Food and Drug Administration and regulators, which could happen by the end of October.
