UK health experts expected to reccommend jabs for all 16-17 year olds

Health experts in the UK are expected to recommend Covid-19 jabs for all 16-17 years olds.

It's estimated that around 1.4 million teenagers would be added to the rollout if this went ahead.

Vaccine Minister Nadhim Zahawi announced last month that only those 12 and over with underlying health issues would receive a jab.

This latest news is welcomed by Dr Chris Smith, a Consultant Virologist at the University of Cambridge, but says it should go further.
