Post lockdown economic boost for Britain as GDP increases

The British economy grew by 4.8% between April and June, as the UK re-emerged from lockdown.


Data from the Office for National Statistics show the expansion in Gross Domestic Product, or GDP, was fuelled by a rise in demand in the retail and hospitality sectors.
