New York increase Covid-19 fatality tally by 12,000

New York's new governor Kathy Hochul has released Covid-19 fatality
numbers that are drastically higher than those released by her
predecessor Andrew Cuomo.

According to death certificate data submitted to the CDC around 12,000
more people died of Covid-19 than previously publicized.
