IPCC: 'CODE RED FOR HUMANITY'

Experts are warning the world's set to hit the global warming limit of a one-point-five degrees Celsius temperature rise in the next 20 years.

A landmark United Nations study says humans are unequivocally driving that, and describes it as 'code red for humanity'.

The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change report says heatwaves, flooding and droughts will be more frequent and intense.

Hoesung Lee is chair of the IPCC and says the study has clear conclusions.
