US President Joe Biden has welcomed the decision by Governor Andrew Cuomo, a prominent Democrat, to resign as Governor of New York.
The Governor quit one week after an independent investigation showed he had sexually harassed 11 women including a member of his own security detail.
Kathy Hochul (PRON: HOAK-ULL) , the Lieutenant Governor of New York, will now make history becoming the first woman to run the state….its reported that she has not spoken to Governor Cuomo since February.
At the White House, President Biden was asked for his reaction to the Governor's announcement.
