President Biden says he will "bring every American home" from Afghanistan and may - if necessary - keep troops at Kabul Airport beyond the current deadline of August 31st.
But he indicated in comments at the White House that the situation in the Afghan capital is volatile, and it's possible there will be American loss of life there.
