US Justice Department to review Trump-era monitoring of critics

The US Justice Department watchdog will investigate the secret
monitoring of Democratic lawmakers and journalists under the Trump
administration.

The Department reportedly subpoenaed data to monitor politicians and
reporters who had been critical of the former President.
