Refugees And Migrants Hit Hard By COVID-19 in Africa

Nearly 14 Million Internally Displaced Persons, refugees, asylum-seekers and migrants in East and Horn of Africa are suffering some of the worst impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.

 

A study by the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and the World Food Programme (WFP) shows COVID-19 has increased the vulnerability of displaced people and migrants and their challenges have been exacerbated by reduced funding for humanitarian operations.
