The United Nations peacekeeping mission in the Democratic Republic of Congo says it is deploying rapid-reaction units in the east of the country to help the government deal with armed groups.
The decision comes two days after a female peacekeeper was killed in an attack on a UN base by rebels. Chris Ocamringa has more from Kinshasa.
