QUEEN'S SPEECH TO SET OUT LEGISLATIVE AGENDA

The Queen will carry out her first engagement in public later since the death of Prince Philip.

She'll deliver the Queen's Speech at Parliament (1030G) which sets out the government's upcoming legislative agenda.

It'll contain plans for legislation on skills and training, countering state threats, asylum rules, animal rights and more.

However, it's reported the speech will not contain a finalised plan on social care funding.

Joyce Pinfield, the vice chair of the National Care Association, says it's not good enough.
