35 Republicans break with Trump to vote to create commission investigating Capitol attack

Thirty-five Republicans defied their party leaders and former President Donald Trump to vote to create an independent commission to investigate the attack on the Capitol.


They sided with House Democrats in a rare break with their party leadership but the bill looks unlikely to pass in the Senate.
