US DoJ probes Minneapolis police in wake of Floyd verdict

The US Department of Justice is launching an investigation into
policing practices in Minneapolis after former officer Derek Chauvin
was convicted of murdering George Floyd.

Attorney General Merrick Garland said the probe would look at
potential "systemic policing issues" in the city's force.
