US President Joe Biden described the murder conviction of a former police officer who killed an unarmed black man, as a giant step forward towards justice in America.
In the landmark trial Derek Chauvin was found guilty of killing George Floyd after kneeling on his neck for more that 9 minutes
The verdict has been praised by the president, as well as Mr Floyd's family.
