America is on edge as it awaits word from the 12-member jury deliberating its verdict in the trial of former police officer, Derek Chauvin, who stands accused of murdering African-American George Floyd in May last year.
The jurors remain sequestered in a hotel for deliberations, as cities across the country brace for protests in response to verdict, whatever the result.
