5 people have died during electoral violence since Ghana went to the polls on Monday. Ghana's electoral process has in the past been generally peaceful. But this year's election, which is seen as a tight contest between incumbent Nana Akufo Addo and former President John Mahama, has seen tensions rise among supporters of both candidates.
