U.S. markets rise despite stimulus uncertainty

The major U.S. indexes closed the day in positive territory with
stimulus talks again dominating investor sentiment.

President Trump has signaled support for a raft of coronavirus
spending packages while rejecting the Democrats 2.2 trillion dollar
proposal.
