Jobless claims in U.S. spike to highest level in over a month

Nearly 900,000 Americans filmed for first time unemployment benefits
last week, far more than analysts expected.

That's the highest figure seen since mid-August and has renewed
concerns over the lasting impact Covid-19 is having on the U.S. labor
market.
