Paris, Marseille and seven other major cities in France will be placed under a night-time curfew, from 9pm to 6am as the country battles a second wave of new Covid-19 infections.
President Macron made the announcement in a television interview on Wednesday, saying the situation in French hospitals is now 'very worrying'.
