The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is issuing new rules this week to remove restrictions on methane gas emissions for America's oil and gas companies, The Wall Street Journal reported Monday.
It says the new rules would fulfil a directive from US president Donald Trump to roll back regulations on the US energy industry, which were adopted in 2016.
