There's controversy in the UK as hundreds of thousands of students receive estimated exam results, having been unable to sit exams because of the coronavirus pandemic.
Results have been estimated by teachers, then moderated by a regulator, but are also subject to an appeals process, and students can also choose to tack grades from mock exams.
Some students and schools fear they will miss out on grades they deserve - but the exam watchdog says overall there has been a higher rate of A and A* grades.
Education Secretary Gavin Williamson admits there will be students who suffer.
