A study in Uganda has revealed that existing malaria rapid diagnostic testing kits are unable to detect lower levels of malaria parasites. The country's health ministry says it will soon introduce an improved diagnostic testing kit. Uganda is one of six African countries that accounted for more than half of all malaria cases worldwide.
