Kamala Harris makes first VP appearance

Kamala Harris, the US Democratic vice presidential hopeful, has made
her first campaign trail appearance.

She was introduced by her running mate Joe Biden, the man who's hoping
to win the keys to the White House off of President Donald Trump in
November's election.

Harris is the first woman of colour on the presidential ticket.

And she hailed the women who had helped make this moment possible.
