The death toll has risen to 18 in the Air India Express accident at Calicut International Airport in the south Indian state of Kerala.
The plane was repatriating Indians from Dubai who'd been stranded because of the coronavirus pandemic. On landing, it skidded off the runway amid heavy rain on Friday evening India time.
