The UK's Security and Intelligence Committee has published a damning report on the government's failure to investigate Russian interference in its elections and referenda.
The long-awaited document says the government 'did not want to know' whether Russia has been engaged in "hostile foreign interference".
And that the domestic intelligence service, MI5, avoided looking into the issue over fears it was too political.
