President Trump accused of downplaying coronavirus case rises

There are more than 3.7 million confirmed coronavirus cases in the United States and more than 140 thousand people have died from covid-19, according to a tally by Johns Hopkins University.

President Trump has been accused of downplaying the severity of the crisis in the US, describing the spikes as "embers" and flames".
