US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has attacked the Chinese government in a speech, accusing Beijing of exploiting the "free and open" societies in the US and elsewhere.
The remarks come just days after the US forced a Chinese consulate to close amid rising tension between Washington and Beijing.
