UK GDP FELL BY RECORD 20.4% IN APRIL DUE TO LOCKDOWN

The UK economy saw it's largest slump on record in the first full month of the coronavirus lockdown. 

Official figures show Britain's GDP shrank by 20.4% in April, as shops and factories closed and workers were sent home.
