UK SETS OUT MORE 'ROADMAP' DETAILS

The UK is setting out further details of its new 'roadmap' for the easing of coronavirus lockdown measures.

Only small changes are being made to the rules for now - but under the new plan, restrictions will be able to be lifted when key milestones are met.

Primary schools could start to reopen from June 1st, along with some shops which have been closed due to the epidemic.

Former chair of the schools regulator Ofsted - Dr Zenna Hopson - says it will be difficult for Britain's teachers to manage a safe reopening.
