The UK government's scientific advisers are meeting teaching unions on Friday to discuss how children will return to school.
It's been arranged by the education secretary, who says they have a "duty" to allow some pupils in England to go back next month.
But the Local Government Association says there should be more flexibility and some teachers have concerns about safety.
