BANK OF ENGLAND FORECASTS GREATEST DROP IN GDP FOR 300 YEARS

The Bank of England is forecasting the deepest recession on record, in response to the coronavirus pandemic.

The economy seems to be on track for a 14% decline - if the lockdown is relaxed by June.

That'll be the biggest annual fall in 300 years.
